Rates
$170 per 50-minute session (for both consultation and ongoing psychotherapy).
Insurance
I am not on any insurance panels (i.e. I won't be considered in-network for your insurance).
However, my services may be covered in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits?

What is my deductible amount and has it been met this insurance year?

How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

What is the coverage amount per therapy session? (for Individual Psychotherapy-CPT code 90806, in zip code 20036)

Typically, in-network benefits are more affordable. You may want to compare your out-of-network vs. in-network benefits to make sure the overall cost difference is managable.
Payment
Cash, check, and all major credit cards accepted for payment, which I request at the start of each session.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, or you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be asked to pay the full cost of the session (however, the first time this happens I typically do not charge you). Please be advised that insurance will not cover any of this charge.
